True Patriot Love Helmet

This is the twelfth year that I am participating in the fundraising auction of “True Patriot Love” which helps Military vets and their families. Each year I decorate a military helmet; this year's helmet features a background from World War I paintings by Richard Jack, Cyrel Bareau and R. A. Hoger. The freize is from a war painting by A.Y. Jackson and I also included the parachutes to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the battle of Normandy. The medals attached to the helmet are copies of commemorative medals of Vimy Ridge and also a copy of a medal given to me by the True Patriot Love foundation.
